Welcome to 60 Patterns to Sew It Forward—a growing collection of beginner-friendly PDF sewing patterns designed to spread comfort, kindness, and hope through handmade gifts.

After losing my dad just two days after his 60th birthday, I needed something meaningful to pour my heart into. Sewing has always been my creative outlet, so I decided to turn that comfort into something that could help others.

My mission is simple:

• Design 60 beginner-friendly sewing patterns that provide comfort, support, or practical help.

• Personally sew and donate 60 of every pattern to hospitals, cancer centers, nursing homes, hospice organizations, veterans, first responders, NICUs, shelters, schools, and other community organizations.

• Encourage makers around the world to Sew It Forward by creating and donating handmade items in their own communities.

Every pattern is thoughtfully designed to be practical, reusable, and enjoyable to sew. Whether you’re making a microwave heating pad, surgery recovery pillow, port pillow, scrub cap, wheelchair accessory, walker bag, memory plush, or another comfort project, every stitch has the opportunity to brighten someone’s day.

These printable PDF sewing patterns include step-by-step instructions and are perfect for beginners and experienced sewists alike.
